In the Bible, Paul writes:
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise,
think on these things." Phil. 4:8;
In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes, "Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts." Science and Health, p. 261;
These two quotations indicate a desirable direction of thought, and many other words could be added that help explain the nature and quality of God, good.
