Have you and I as avowed Christian Scientists truly opened our hearts to the world? Do we really desire to share what we have found with everybody else?
Jesus didn't keep his unparalleled understanding of the Christ to himself. He went about preaching and teaching and proving what he taught by healing works. The early Christians followed Jesus' example. They brought Christianity to the world of their time, awakening a great many individuals to the Christ; and they too healed.
When Mrs. Eddy was healed of an injury by turning to God, she didn't keep the understanding of God she gained to herself. Carefully and prayerfully she worked to understand Truth in its Science so all could comprehend it and have it available to prove their dominion over the afflictive beliefs of the material senses. She consecrated her lifetime to helping mankind through her writings and establishing her Church and the Christian Science movement.
