Christian Science has been our physician, guide, and counselor for thirty years. Divine Science has surely been our Comforter.
At the age of three our son appeared to have the same symptoms of disease our daughter had had when she passed on four years earlier under medical care. The doctor stated at the time of her death that he had not known of anyone's recovery from such a disease. This was before we were students of Christian Science.
When our son became ill, I called a Christian Science practitioner during the night. She told me over the phone that I was to place the child in God's care. This I did. She said she would stay up and pray.
