To love you
Is to know something of eternity.
For this love is steadfast
And enduring.
It cannot be lost, or broken, or burned.
For all its strength
It is so light that I carry it, unburdened,
Wherever I go.
It shines by the reflected brilliance
Of that infinite Love
Whose vastness I do not yet fully comprehend.
And if you should leave me,
I will still hold its brightness
Cupped in my hands,
And outgrow separation
In the serenity—the forever nowness—
Of this radiant, undying joy.
