I am grateful to have been associated with Christian Science since I was a small child. In fact, I have never really known any other way of life.
My husband and I, in raising our four children, have had many healings and instances of God's protection. Church membership and attendance have been a constant blessing in our lives.
Several years ago, while attending the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, my fourteen-year-old granddaughter and I went jogging early one morning. While we were out, I fell and apparently broke my arm. The pain was very bad. Nevertheless we went back to the hotel to get ready for breakfast and to attend related sessions of the Annual Meeting. It never occurred to me that we would not be able to go.
