THE CHURCH IN ACTION

ACTION IN THE FIELD

From the April 1986 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Contributed by a member of The Mother Church.

Although I have always loved Christian Science, and joined The Mother Church right after completing Sunday School, it was more than fifteen years later that I first joined a branch church. Because of an active career and caring for our two children, it seemed for many years there was not enough time to make a meaningful contribution as a member.

I also knew, however, that I had to feel a true spiritual commitment to church. I would like to share how this came about and the growth it has brought.
