I have appreciated Christian Science from the time I was young. But it wasn't until I went away to college that I really began to probe this teaching. During those years I saw how the daily study of Christian Science uplifts and blesses our lives.
Although I enjoyed the academic subjects at school, I came to see that my real goal—whether I was a student or engaged in other activities—was to learn more of God and of my relationship to Him as His expression, and most important to demonstrate what I was learning.
While at school I struggled once with a serious physical problem for a few weeks. The healing did come through Christian Science. But by then it was only a few days before I had to take an examination in one of my classes. I'd known about the exam, but I hadn't been able to study for it during the weeks I wasn't well. Now I became concerned.
