God's kingdom is forever

From the May 1987 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Boundless circumference
of divine Principle
encloses, contains, and doesn't let go.

Here, no hard flat edges
of limited horizons
restrict us to wearisome
ruts or pitfalls of some
same old groove.

Never fearful of a setting
sun, we round corners in
ever-expanding orbits
of light—infinity contained, yet
unconfined—finding freedom
and all things new.
