OF NOTE THIS MONTH

From the September 1987 issue of The Christian Science Journal

On September 24, a Global Lecture Preparatory Meeting will be held at more than 300 meeting sites around the world. In order for all members worldwide to attend this meeting on Thursday evening, local time, the first portion of the program will consist of a time-delayed satellite transmission from Boston to each site.

Members of The Mother Church, members of branch churches, societies, and groups, Sunday School students, university and college organization members, and regular attendants at branch church services are invited to attend and to join in unified support of the more than 3,000 lectures given annually throughout the world.

Meeting sites will be listed in the Christian Science Sentinel on September 7 and 21. Meeting sites will also be announced at branch church services. You are welcome to attend this meeting at any site, although each branch church has been assigned a preferred location based on seating capacity.
