"I need to go to the bathroom!"
These frequent cries from the three and four-year-olds in the Christian Science Sunday School class that I was teaching, combined with my constant efforts to get them to come up from under the table, made me feel like a frustrated failure. Even during those precious few moments when they actually were listening, I found it difficult to use simple enough words so they could understand.
