I am very grateful to have been raised in Christian Science and to have depended on it all my life for healing.
A few years ago, I was at work on the 3 to 11 p.m. shift when I became quite ill. The next morning I didn't feel any better, and I began to pray. I was expected back at work at three that afternoon, and I really felt that that was where I needed to be. In the Christian Science Hymnal I found a healing message in Hymn 247. Every line seemed to apply to me, and the last verse was especially helpful:
Ye shall not faint, ye shall not fail;
In Spirit ye are strong;
Each task divine ye still shall hail,
And blend it with a song.
