Christian Science is based on the word and works of Christ Jesus and accepts the Bible's position that death is an enemy to be defeated. Christian Science also teaches that God is the only Life, that He is wholly good, and that Life is therefore eternal, as Jesus proved and taught.
Here someone might interject, "Just what are you telling me? That you and I are not going to die?"
Sometimes the passing of relatives, or medical verdicts for friends, or even just the years going by bring us face to face with what appears to be the ultimate end of all things. Is there no alternative to death? Should one just give up?
