As we were readying this issue for press, several letters written to Mrs. Eddy by a few of her students came to our attention. We felt these letters tied in movingly with this issue.
We knew that these students had gone on to become tried and true workers for the growing young movement. But we were especially touched by these early letters, written shortly after the writers had learned of Christian Science.
This new religious teaching revolutionized their lives, and they threw themselves into learning more about it. Christian Science was no mere pastime for them! Almost immediately after they began the study of this new-old religious teaching, they found people coming to them for healing. And those who came were healed.
