One afternoon during the Christmas holidays, my grandmother phoned and asked for me. I was quite surprised to receive a call from her, asking for my help. She explained she had a fever (so did Peter's wife's mother in the Bible Lesson that week). She asked me to pray to help her correct that false belief.
I accepted, not knowing what to pray at the moment. I went to my room and began thinking. Then it hit me to think of why my grandmother could not be out of God's power. I suddenly remembered the book of Genesis. God created all, and all was good. God made man in His image and likeness. Therefore disease does not and cannot exist. God never lets us out of His protection.
The next morning she called to thank me for my help. She said she was fine and could tell I had been praying. I was glad to have worked for her through Christian Science. I am ten years old and attend Sunday School weekly.
