Science and Health: Heart to heart

From the November 1993 issue of The Christian Science Journal

When readers of Science and Health consider how natural it is to share what they love, they find themselves looking at others in a new way. They're recognizing in friends and co-workers a capacity to appreciate the divine logic and comfort in Science and Health. One man told us what happened when he realized that someone he already knew would be interested in this book.

"A gentleman that I had been working with for a few years is a sales representative for a printing company. My family and I have grown to like him very much, and it just came to me that he is a good thinker who would appreciate a book like this. So I packaged up a copy of Science and Health and wrote just a brief message inside it to him. Just a day ago I received a nice note back from him. He says, 'Thank you for the book. I'm looking forward to reading it and using it for reference. I hope I can gain from it at least a fraction of what you have.' That really struck me, because apparently in the two or three years I worked with him, he had recognized some of what it means when an individual's whole life is based on Science and Health. "
