For two days last spring members of our church went to the campus of California State University, Northridge, with boxes of articles clipped from The Christian Science Monitor. Articles in fifty-two categories were free to students for research for term papers. We were sponsored by the California State University Christian Science Organization.
There was considerable activity. We distributed one hundred Monitors each day. We shared several Monitors with articles on Bosnia with a group that was having a forum on that subject; an anthropology class stopped by and students who are majoring in arts, political science, natural science, and journalism.
The journalism teacher was so impressed with the Monitor that she asked a staff member how her class could learn how our Church got involved in publishing it. The worker told her to contact the state Christian Science Committee on Publication. The class did, and a Committee on Publication representative gave a talk which they enjoyed very much.
