God holds His children
in the secret of His tabernacle,
a spiritual home
where nothing changes,
not even day to night.
God answers our prayer.
His is the peace,
His the mandate and the law,
He the only good—
ever present, all-wise, always.
What cannot God do? Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health, p. 135
He can conquer a giant's army
with a pebble in the hand
of a shepherd boy.
He can bring forth the widow's son
from his bewailed bier.
He can put bread in the mouths
of thousands who have no bread.
When a tempestuous storm blows up
He can stop the wind
and make—at once—
a great calm.
He has blessed His people
and given us this promise:
Wisdom and knowledge
shall be the stability of thy times,
and strength of salvation. Isa. 33:6
This is the good
and perfect gift
from our Father,
ever present, all-wise, always.
