My family had just met up in Belgium, and we were driving down a highway in the midafternoon, planning to stop early. I had been on a night flight, and told my wife I needed to sleep a few minutes while she drove.
A little while later I dreamed that my daughter and I were still on the airplane and that it was crashing. I had the perfectly calm thought that even if the plane went down, we would be all right. Then I realized that it was our car crashing; my wife had fallen asleep. When we stopped I turned to my wife and said, "Don't worry. Everything is all right." She looked dazed and was bleeding. I looked in the back seat, but our children were gone.
I found my son alongside the road, injured. I said to him, "God is your Life." Then I hurried to my daughter, who was quite a way off the road. She was unconscious.
