God's perfection, and yours

From the January 1998 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The only things true about any of us are the things true of God. Therefore all that is true about every individual is good, because God is limitless good.

Man isn't really a being on his own, separate from God, trying to be Christlike. He is God's expression—the evidence of divine Truth, Life, and Love. He isn't a material fabrication with a degree of spirituality mixed in. He is the manifestation, the outcome, of divine Spirit, and is therefore entirely spiritual.

Anyone's perfection as the child of God is not his or her own; it is completely dependent on God's perfection.
