From the May 1998 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Annual Meeting of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will convene on Monday, June 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Symphony Hall, Boston, which is located on the corner of Huntington and Massachusetts Avenues. This alternate site for Annual Meeting has been provided because of the current restoration and renewal work in the Extension of The Mother Church. The meeting will last approximately two and a half hours, and child care will be provided for those too young to attend.

This year's meeting will be held for "listening to the reports of Treasurer, Clerk, and Committees, and general reports from the Field" (Manual of The Mother Church, Art. XIII, Sect. 1). It will also continue to report how the leaven of Truth is at work in science, theology, and medicine and the response of the members of Mary Baker Eddy's Church to this leavening activity. Simultaneous translation of Annual Meeting will not be provided; however, portions of the meeting will appear in upcoming issues of The Herald of Christian Science and in the July issue of The Christian Science Journal.

Are you or is someone you know interested in forming or being a part of a Christian Science organization (CSO) at a university or college? Adults taking or teaching courses at community colleges, faculty members at universities, college students, or high-school students planning to attend college ... we'd love to hear from you!
