Hypnotism—powerless before the one Mind

Have you ever been confronted with a situation where you felt confused and as though things were out of control? When I faced a difficult time some years ago, I turned to the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. While reading the first page of the Preface, I came to these words: "The time for thinkers has come. Truth, independent of doctrines and time-honored systems, knocks at the portal of humanity."  Science and Health, p. vii As I closed the book, I saw that I had not been including Truth in my thinking. So, I let in Truth, God, and here's what happened.

Was this good
entertainment,
especially for soldiers
preparing for combat?

The Korean War was afoot. Having a reserve commission in the United States Air Force, I was soon on active duty, assigned as a special services officer to a bomber base. Here airplanes and crews were being readied for combat.
