The Christian Science Journal's marketing department has won the 1999 Circulation Direct Marketing Award for "Best Gift Subscription Promotion and/or Gift Renewal." The "2-For-1" gift offer, which appeared as an attachment to the cover of the May 1999 issue of the Journal, was selected as the winning entry.
The CDMA is one of the magazine publishing industry's most prestigious awards, acknowledging outstanding circulation direct marketing campaigns. The Journal was honored in October at an award ceremony sponsored by Folio: Magazine, a publication specializing in the circulation management industry.
