COMMENTARY & REVIEW

You can begin!

From the January 2000 issue of The Christian Science Journal

We felt that writer experience gives encouragement to anyone hoping for a new beginning as the year 2000 dawns.

As a teenager, I was vain about my hands. Then, shortly after my daughter was born, growths began to appear on my fingers. At first I thought the growths were caused by harsh detergents I was using. But as time passed, the growths continued to proliferate.

I was used to turning to God for solutions to all kinds of problems, large and small, and I had experienced healing through prayer on many occasions. So I prayed to God for healing whenever I thought of my hands.
