A Few Years Ago, several people I knew were suffering from allergies of various kinds. About this time, I found that when I went to my aunt's house, I began to have what seemed to be strong allergic reactions to her cocker spaniel. I left quickly, and for several months I avoided visiting her because of the dog (which, incidentally, had never bothered me before).
Then I realized that I didn't have to accept this belief that people can develop sensitivities or allergies to things and creatures in the environment. So I quickly turned my thoughts from the whole material assessment of reality to the truth of spiritual identity—not only my own identity but that of the entire kingdom of God.
I knew the Bible indicates that God, the only creator, does "fill heaven and earth," Jer. 23:24. and I knew God fills them spiritually. God is infinite Love, expressing itself; therefore, all that exists must be not only spiritual but harmonious and loving to man. I also reminded myself that since my identity is spiritual and I am living in the kingdom of God, I am governed only by spiritual law, and no false belief in a material system of laws could affect me.
