Q&A with the Rev. Ricky Porter

Following his interview, Rev. Ricky Porter responded to a few questions from the audience.

As far as the percentage of the US population who are black compared to the percentage of blacks who read Science and Health goes ... well, I don't think we're doing too well. I wonder if you have any thoughts about why it's way, or how that could change?

That's a great question, a profound question. ... From a sociological point of view, it isn't unusual that a group will identify within its borders. That's very, very natural. ... So, it's not unusual in Christian Science churches, which are typically white and middle class that you will find the same tendency.
