LETTERS LEAD UK READERS TO THE COMFORTER'S TRANSFORMING MESSAGE

From the December 2004 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Tony Lobl, District Manager for Committees in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, sees notable growth in the "mainstreaming" of spirituality. "Much of the public," he says, "is evidencing a desire for what Christian Science offers. So one of today's key impositions is that the majority don't know enough about Christian Science to recognize that this is what they are seeking. Letters to the editor can point to the Comforter's life-transforming message."

A recent letter by Mr. Lobl, published in The Financial Times, responded to a review mentioning Christian Science as a crucial part of composer Sergei Prokofiev's life. Lobl and his team have also been published in The Times on perfectionism, the Daily Mail on prayer, and in national publications as diverse as The Scotsman, The Voice, Christian Herald, and Payroll World.
