"I am pleased to be able to inform you that everyone's prayer and support has borne fruit today. My article has been published in The Times of India." This joy-filled message came from Bombay to the office of the Manager of the Committees on Publication in Boston last year.
The author of the letter, Subhash Malhotra, was then an Assistant Committee and is now the Committee on Publication for India (Western Region). The publication of his extensive article was no small feat and a breakthrough in his media work. The Times, India's most prestigious national newspaper, has a paid circulation of 2.1 million and a readership exceeding 6 million. Mr. Malhotra's piece, "You Are What You Think You Are," included three quotations from Science and Health, as well as references to Mary Baker Eddy and spiritual ity.com—all of which were left intact by the editor.
Malhotra is grateful for the groundbreaking efforts of his predecessor, Sushil Likhi, and for his hard work, patience, and perseverance.
