TEAMWORK ON THE INTERNET

From the December 2004 issue of The Christian Science Journal

John Minard, Christian Science Committee on Publication for the Internet, says his mission is "to provide thousands of visible points of accurate, inspiring, and healing items about Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, and Science and Health online. Our goal is to help every spiritual seeker on the Net find accurate and constructive information on Christian Science, as well as to provide the opportunity for them to get to know others who've been healed through its practice.

"Usually when my Assistants and I contribute to a discussion forum or write an article, we refer to Science and Health and include a link to spirituality.com. which includes the entire text of Science and Health online. pointing web users to spirituality.com. is a wonderful way to introduce spiritual seekers to a knowledgeable and supportive community of people who've proved the practical healing ideas in Science and Health.

"This past year," Minard says, "the Internet Committee team had over 50 articles published on ten different websites, along with two biographies of Mrs. Eddy; added spirituality.com to 13 link pages; and posted over 1,000 items on a wide spectrum of public discussion forums and message boards. We've also begun a monthly column called 'Practical Spirituality,' which now runs on two Internet sites."
