1. Before entering the public healing practice of Christian Science in 2005, Jeremy Carper's career took him around the world. He and his wife, Sharon, adopted four orphaned children from Zambia and Ethiopia. Two have since grown and started families of their own. "Between us," Jeremy laughs, "we have six first languages." 2. "I am constantly asking questions," says Christian Science practitioner and teacher Fujiko Signs, who divides her time between Japan and Utah. "I feel that searching for spirituality outside of religious creeds and rituals reveals a deep desire for more unifying and healing effects in our lives."
