Learning how to learn in the Christian Science Sunday School was an educational revolution that burst into my college years. As a graduate student I needed to complete a four-year undergraduate program to enter my chosen career. I was bored by slow-moving lectures, and booked an appointment with the chancellor of Cape Town Teachers' College to ask for enrichment to my program. She leaned over her desk toward me, and her large hands seemed to gather up my situation.
