Valuing the youth voice

From the October 2016 issue of The Christian Science Journal

This past April, you may have noticed a new tab on the main page of JSH-Online.com labeled “TeenConnect.” Designed and developed to be an inspiring resource, TeenConnect, which is part of the Christian Science Sentinel, offers meaningful, easy-to-read, and relevant content for youth. Not only is the content easily shareable via social media, it’s free, making it accessible to everyone.

Sitting down with Jenny Sawyer, Managing Editor of Youth Content for the Journal and Sentinel, and Marla Sammuli, Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Product Manager, I had the opportunity to learn all about TeenConnect. As they talked about the thinking behind it, it was clear that a great deal of prayer and love went into the development of this valuable new section of JSH-Online.

I know that reaching out to youth is an important goal of The Mother Church. How is TeenConnect helping to fulfill this goal?
