At the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church in June reports are read as called for in Article XIII, Section I, of the Manual of The Mother Church. Included are "general reports from the Field.

From the Treasurer of The Mother Church Per Capita Tax , as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13 , is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January 1 and December 31.

[As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, February 11, 1950] In order to continue proper maintenance of The Mother Church edifices, following their many years of service, extensive renovations and repairs have become necessary. Much of the steel structure of the main dome of the Church needs to be replaced and the dome retiled with terra cotta.

[As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, January 7, 1950] Beginning in 1950, the members of The Christian Science Board of Directors will be free to resume teaching classes in Christian Science. Correspondence should be addressed to the Directors individually.

The Radio Fund was established to enable individual Christian Scientists, branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies to share with The Mother Church the expense of its religious broadcasts — extending now to several countries — and the nationwide American network program, "The Christian Science Monitor Views the News," sponsored by The Christian Science Publishing Society. From small beginnings these two types of program have grown as their value was tested until they now reach many millions of people weekly, a large proportion of whom undoubtedly would not be hearing of Christian Science without them.

[As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, November 26, 1949] The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy announce new cloth pocket editions of the German and French translations of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. " Each translation consists of one volume with alternate pages in English.

OPPORTUNITIES AFFORDED BY CHRISTIAN SCIENCE ORGANIZATIONS IN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel , October 8, 1949] Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has, in Article XXIII, Section 8, of the Manual of The Mother Church, provided for the needs and spiritual growth of Christian Scientists who are attending colleges and universities. There are now about one hundred Christian Science Organizations listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal, and they are located on campuses in many parts of the world.
