From the July 1950 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It is with sincere regret that we report the passing on of our loyal friend and faithful fellow worker in Christian Science, William D. Kilpatrick, C. S. B., at his home in Centerville, Massachusetts, on Friday, April 14.

Mr. Kilpatrick was widely known to the Field because of his many years as a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science, as a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, and for his service as Manager of Committees on Publication since July, 1944. For three consecutive years he was appointed Committee on Publication for Michigan. He left this work in 1917 upon his election to the Board of Lectureship. Mr. Kilpatrick became a teacher of Christian Science in 1919, holding his class and the meeting of his pupils' association in Detroit, Michigan, each year.

There is support and spiritual comfort for those who knew and loved Mr. Kilpatrick in the words of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, "Because God is ever present, no boundary of time can separate us from Him and the heaven of His presence: and because God is Life, all Life is eternal" (Unity of Good, p. 37).
