An extraordinary International Conference will take place at The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston this August—and it's designed especially for you if you are a student, faculty member, or instructor at a college or university, a recent college graduate, or are in your last year of school (high school) before attending college. The Conference will explore the theme "Pioneers of the Spiritual Millennium" in three dynamic days of inquiry and discussion with speakers and panelists from around the world.

The closing years of this century continue to be marked by an accelerating public demand for spiritual answers and for the system of healing that Mary Baker Eddy discovered and then provided to the world in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. As has been the case with the past several Annual Meetings, this year's meeting will record both humanity's burgeoning spiritual quest and the creative and timely ways that The Mother Church and its members are responding.

Annual Meeting 1998 Annual Meeting of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will convene on Monday, June 8, at 1:30 p. m.

One Sunday morning I was called by the clerk of my branch church to be substitute Second Reader. It had been over fifteen years since I had read as a Second Reader, but I joyfully agreed to fill the need.

Ways in which you can give Members and friends often ask how they can contribute to the needs of The Mother Church—in addition to the annual per capita tax and ongoing donations—both now and in the future. The Gift Services staff of the Treasurer's Office can help you learn more about different types of gift arrangements including Life Income Gifts, current gifts of appreciated assets (such as securities or real estate), or gifts created through your will.
