If a painter, musician, sculptor, or craftsman were told that there is a scientific way of thinking that leads to an inspired creation, he might dismiss this claim with cynical doubt. Yet inspiration comes with one's understanding of oneself as he truly is, the son of God.

Nearly everyone is taught from early childhood to say "Thank you!" Christian joy is founded in large measure on the promises of God recorded in the Holy Bible. And often in terms of these promises the Christian Scientist finds a growing acquaintance with his heavenly Father as he progresses in the study and practice of his religion.
