A Foundational Trust

From the November 1967 issue of The Christian Science Journal

No greater privilege is afforded the child or young person than that of partaking of the teachings of Christian Science each week in the Christian Science Sunday School. No hour of academic pursuit or laboratory experiment can be equated with the value of study and unfoldment to be found in this holy hour of seeking and learning.

Here the works of the prophets, of the Master, Christ Jesus, and of his apostles become vital, practical examples instead of events with supernatural connotations or records of attainments impossible today. Here can be found the answer to meaningful and wholesome existence in today's challenging scene of weakened moral structure and matter-centered culture. Here burdensome and restrictive labels of race and national origin can be dissolved before the liberating fact of man's real identity as the wholly spiritual child of infinite Love, God.

Physical healing, harmonious human relationships, satisfying educational achievement, adequate supply, the making of wise decisions as to a career and companionship, can progressively result from the inspiration and study fostered by regular attendance at Sunday School.
