"AS THE WATERS COVER THE SEA"

Isaiah 11:9

From the November 1967 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Let music swell within God's house,
Clear springs of joy that never cease
To celebrate His truth, His love,
Compassion, wisdom, peace.

Lo, these the healing streams that gush
From grateful hearts and, gathering might,
Pour rivers deep and wide to form
Seas that are infinite.

Infinite in men's hopes renewed,
Their health restored, and sins cast out;
So they, in learning more of God,
Are freed from fear and doubt.

O waters, make your thunder heard
Around the world, from sun to sun,
That all men, least to greatest, find
God is the only One!
