Our True Building Enterprise

To build understandingly for a noble purpose is architecture in its highest sense. To state clearly the purpose or function of something is, to the receptive thought, to describe the outcome. This is true of building as ordinarily conceived by the human mind. It is equally true in the divinely metaphysical concept of building if one substitutes spiritual ideas for material concepts.

The idea of Church as understood in Christian Science has been clearly stated in the Glossary of our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Here our revered Leader gives the purely spiritual conception of Church and follows this by defining its operation in human consciousness.
