What lives? What is eternal? Not evil, for it is only a pretense and has in itself the element of self-destruction. Only good lives; only good is immortal. God, divine Principle, infinite good, is the real Life. The Apostle Paul speaks of "the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy." I Tim. 6:17;
We gain the understanding of the abundant nature of good—how to have good, how to do good—as we realize the loving, harmonious nature of the one cause. Spiritual sense enables us to know that God, divine Love, is the source of good and that we can have the abundant sense of life by holding to the fact that Love, Spirit, is Life and by doing good, expressing divine Principle.
To understand Life—this is the most important thing. How grateful we are to Christ Jesus for showing by demonstration what Life is! And how grateful we are to Mrs. Eddy for so clearly explaining Jesus' demonstration of eternal Life!
