Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

MAN'S IMMORTALITY

MRS. EDDY tells us on page 370 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" that "to be immortal, we must forsake the mortal sense of things, turn from the lie of false belief to Truth, and gather the facts of being from the divine Mind.

OVERCOMING "THE LAST ENEMY"

THE Master said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly," and he verified this statement by saving the sinner, healing the sick, and raising the dead, in proof of his Messiahship. In covering the great subject of salvation, our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, speaks of it as the overcoming of sin, disease, and death.

OIL IN THEIR LAMPS

THE parable of the ten virgins, as told in the twenty-fifth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, contains a wonderful lesson, which can be used very advantageously in meeting the problems and opportunities of today. Whether in the business world, in the recreational field, or in social contacts—in fact, in any and every manner of human endeavor— ability and the strength to carry on are deemed of great importance.

TIME AND PRACTICE

In various forms of human endeavor we find the association of time and practice, as being equally necessary concomitants for attaining desirable results. In fact, a common attitude toward the achievement of success is often expressed by these well-known phrases: "Give them time," and, "Practice makes perfect.

GOD'S WILL TO MEN

The following are some of the dictionary definitions of the word "will": "wish or desire; .

THERE IS NO LINE OF RETREAT

Fridtjof Nansen , the famous polar explorer, had to overcome great opposition to his voyages of discovery. He departed from professional axioms, for he did not keep to the coast for the purpose of having a line of retreat.
