What is our duty to God?

Many Christians and others as well are searching for something higher than themselves. They yearn naturally for that deeper understanding of God which will ultimately satisfy their innermost cravings.

Parenting truly is a solemn responsibility. For a parent there should be nothing so vital, of such great concern, as the well-being of his or her children.

Finding peace within and without

Where do we find peace? Is it something outside or inside us? We generally conceive of two separate states of peace. One is the tranquillity we sometimes discover when we withdraw from what we call the outside world and spend some time alone in quiet contemplation.

When healing is delayed

What can we do if a healing does not yet appear even though we have begun to perceive the spiritual fact that in reality all is well? If pain and discordant conditions continue, it may be time to deal more specifically with mortal mind and its claims. Since immortal Mind, God, is infinite and the only reality, its supposed opposite, mortal mind, can only be a false belief.

Do you sometimes find yourself working earnestly as a Christian Scientist to put something right that has gone wrong, or to make an ill person into a well person? I know I do. Nullifying mental intrusion

To a greater or lesser degree, all of us are exposed to the use of techniques that would manipulate us mentally. Their lighter efforts range from sophisticated attempts to persuade us to buy things— often things we don't want or need—to meddling with our thoughts from well-meant but misdirected motives.

There's a tendency in human nature to store things. And it's the same with the false beliefs that suggest we are material beings subject to limitation, sickness, and death.
