Christian Science endorses wholeheartedly the sacrament of baptism. Every right motive we cherish, every vow we make and renew in commitment to God, is bound to strengthen us spiritually.

We will all admit that nothing worthwhile takes place in society unless inspired by some individual. Every progressive step, every constructive effort, every original idea, plan, and execution depends upon the thinking and the actions of individuals.

An eager Sunday School teacher sometimes makes a reluctant superintendent. Christian Science corrects the false testimony of the physical senses and reveals the inspiring truth that evil is not a fact of life, because God, divine Life, is the only true source of existence.

Many astrophysicists believe that entities called black holes can be formed from stars whose density and size have reached such critical values that inward-pulling gravitational forces overwhelm outward-pushing electrical and nuclear forces. When these conditions exist, it is believed that the core of the star will collapse from its original radius of a few thousand miles to a compact object, at which time it vanishes from our sight.

If an individual is demonstrating the healing Principle of Christian Science correctly, there inevitably come into his experience "signs following. " These may take the form of friends, a happy home, rewarding work, and so on.

In Christian Science one of the basic synonyms of God is Mind, and when we read the first commandment in this light we arrive at a very important fact— namely, that we should acknowledge no other Mind but God, good, infinite Spirit. This is a strong point in the healing practice of this Science.

Christian Science explains there is but one Soul, one infinite divine Mind or consciousness. Man reflects, or manifests, divine consciousness.
