New Conception, New Birth

Modern life-styles and so-called new morality have trapped many unwary individuals into experimenting with ways that do not conform to the Christian values of life. Those who depart from these values are likely to find their supposed newfound freedoms not freeing at all. The immoral situations leave them feeling unclean, and they long to return to the purity they knew under different life-styles.

This yearning to be clean is a first giant step toward the purity and innocence of man's true nature. Although there may be many other steps to be taken, this first crying out for moral freedom assures the honest heart of eventual release.

Jesus offered to those of his day the same message Christian Science holds out to the seekers of this age. He said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus challenged the Master: "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Jesus replied, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:3-5;
