Several years ago I was in the mountains for vacation. I was playing with my cousin, when I thought that it would be faster to go through the window of the house to get down into the garden. My cousin passed through all right, but I slipped and cut my stomach on an iron fence.
My aunt, who was nearby, heard me, and with a friend came to help me and lay me down. Immediately I thought and said aloud that God was present, very near and all-powerful. My grandfather, having come to my side, declared aloud the truth: God's allness and His dear love for me. I felt that this was doing me some good, and after a while the pain abruptly and definitely stopped.
During this time a Christian Science practitioner miles away had been alerted, and she was praying for me. My mother arrived, and both of us, being in agreement, we decided to rely on God only and not to call for any medical aid; we were all of the same opinion.
