Testimonies of Healing
Words cannot express my gratitude for the blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. My aunt was healed after suffering ten years from what doctors called a fibrous growth.
For a long time I have wished to give expression to my gratitude for all that the study of Christian Science has brought to me. As a child I suffered from a catarrhal affection of the head and throat, also from severe earaches and attacks of lung trouble.
I wish to express publicly my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. When I started to attend the Christian Science services, a little over three years ago, I was a strong believer in medicine and used it freely, but for all that I would have spells of fever.
Sincere gratitude impels me to tell of the good which God has bestowed upon me. Christian Science found me in a state of mental depression and physical suffering.
I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. About four years ago I was healed of chronic stomach trouble, bronchitis, and many other diseases.
I feel impelled to express our sincere gratitude for the healing of our daughter, two and a half years old. In August, 1910, she became afflicted with a skin disease on the upper arm.
In the fall of 1900 Christian Science was brought to my attention by a business man, who spoke of it as a healing agency surpassing all material methods. At that time my need was great, as materia medica.
A Little over one year ago I was forced to resign my pastorate in New York state on account of my wife's health, her physicians ordering an immediate change of climate and suggesting her native country, Nova Scotia. Arrangements were therefore made for me to go to Halifax, my wife having preceded me on a visit to my home near Boston by two weeks.
This testimony is given in gratitude for the many benefits received through Christian Science. My two children and myself have had many healings during the past two years.
As a recent experience of mine may lead some one to the light, I cheerfully give it. Some time ago a growth which had been on my leg for about forty years became malignant.
