Testimonies of Healing

Several years ago I began to have difficulty breathing at times. The problem worsened, so I asked a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me.

Growing up, I had many healings through prayer, including healings of earaches, chicken pox, colds, and flu. A number of these healings were immediate ones.

Over the last couple of years I have been deepening my commitment to spiritual growth. This past summer, I became much more consistent in my daily study of the weekly Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly.

Before I started the study of Christian Science, I frequently suffered from migraine headaches. After I began to study Christian Science, I would often call a Christian Science, practitioner to pray with me during these Usually the pain would decrease greatly and the length of time that the headaches lasted would lessen.

Yeah, old habits die hard . I remember as a candidate for the Methodist ministry, I smoked.

My husband and I met while we were in the armed forces during the Second World War. We fell in love and had 53 extremely happy years together.

I would like to express my gratitude for a healing I had of drinking alcohol when I started the study of Christian Science over 15 years ago. I had developed the drinking habit after I came to Bombay approximately 33 years ago.

A couple of years ago, I fell and was knocked unconscious. When I came to, another Christian Scientist was vigorously telling me the truth of my perfection as a child of God.

My first healing in Christian Science occurred in 1987 when our daughter was about four months old. I had had a dull pain in one of my teeth.

I began studying Christian Science when I was in my early twenties. At first, I wondered if it was what I had been seeking.
