Testimonies of Healing

I would like to express my gratitude for a healing I had of drinking alcohol when I started the study of Christian Science over 15 years ago. I had developed the drinking habit after I came to Bombay approximately 33 years ago.

A couple of years ago, I fell and was knocked unconscious. When I came to, another Christian Scientist was vigorously telling me the truth of my perfection as a child of God.

My first healing in Christian Science occurred in 1987 when our daughter was about four months old. I had had a dull pain in one of my teeth.

I began studying Christian Science when I was in my early twenties. At first, I wondered if it was what I had been seeking.

Obedience to God has proven to be a real blessing for me. On Easter Monday evening, 1998, I felt chilled and unwell, so I went to bed.

" I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being" ( Ps. 104:33 ).

Several years ago I had a healing that I would like to share with the whole world. Although the healing took place over a long period, the time was not wasted.

My daughter had gone to work in the Lake District of England six months before my visit. She had written letters full of excitement about her new activities.

The spiritual laws of God's creation became clear to my wife and me when she was pregnant with our daughter. The experience gave us the opportunity to acknowledge God's spiritual Father-Motherhood as a creative power that was of immediate help to us.

A few minutes before midnight, I went into our toddler's room and found her having difficulty breathing. Earlier in the day she'd had a cold, but now she was much worse.
