Testimonies of Healing

I AM VERY GRATEFUL for the spiritual progress I made several summers ago while praying about a very annoying skin disease. When I couldn't sleep at night because of the discomfort, I would pray earnestly to gain an understanding of God and my true, spiritual identity.

I HAVE HAD some wonderful healings. I was a smoker for 51 years, and although I had long yearned to be free of this habit, I could not seem to overcome it.

ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO I was taking my daily walk. When I came to a fence, I started to jump over as I usually did, but I only made it part way and slammed down against the fence and fell to the cement walk.

WHEN I RECEIVED a phone call from my sister that my dad had just passed on suddenly, I was in shock, to say the least. I felt confused.

"THE BEST TOOL is the thought that I can do it. " This came out of the mouth of a second-grader after being told his hands were probably the best tool for sculpting in clay.

MANY YEARS AGO I suffered from migraine headaches. This had gone on for some years.

ONE MORNING RECENTLY , I had walked but a short distance from my home when I fell and sustained extensive abrasions and bruising to my face. Two passerby came to help, and kindly took me home at my request.

SEVERAL MONTHS AGO I had a toothache. I decided to have my teeth checked over by a dentist.

When the author recognized that she had the opportunity to put into practice what she'd learned about Christian Science, she proved the power of Truth to bring complete healing.

FOR MANY YEARS I took medication to help relieve unrelenting and crippling pain. Pills and injections helped temporarily, but the symptoms persisted until finally all drugs lost their effectiveness.
