Testimonies of Healing

My husband and I have found Christian Science to be a bedrock in our lives. Its teachings provide a sure foundation for fulfilling and joyous living.

I wish to express my gratitude to God for the many benefits our family has received from the study of Christian Science and from the understanding of God and His creation that this study gives us. Truly, "with God all things are possible" (Mark).

This morning I swam a whole mile! The milelong swim was, for me, a way of expressing gratitude to God; it was also proof of a Christian Science healing I had experienced some time before. Several years ago I had to give up swimming because it had become painful and fatiguing to use my arm.

My heart is full of gratitude for all the good that Christian Science has brought into my life during more than forty years. I have been healed of facial paralysis and of growths that were on my neck.

There is no way to write down all of the varied benefits that have come to me through the study and application of the teachings of Christian Science. But I do wish to express my gratitude for a few of the healings I've had through relying on spiritual means alone.

I will always be grateful to the friend who many years ago told me of Christian Science. I was having one of my repeated attacks of hay fever, and my friend said to me, "You don't have to put up with this.

Eleven years have passed since my published testimony about our daughter's healing of a weakened spine and facial deformity, which took place shortly after we adopted her. She has continued in good health, and she expresses joy and a love of Christian Science.

At one time I was suffering from a severe and persistent illness diagnosed as undulant fever by our family physician. I also had an ulcer, colitis, and lifelong anemia, for which I was being treated medically.

I am deeply grateful to have grown up in a family that faithfully practiced Christian Science. In thinking about it now, I wouldn't want to have grown up in any other way.

During the first twelve years of my life I had one physical difficulty after another. Frequently sick, I had diseases commonly associated with children and had taken all kinds of medicine.
