Testimonies of Healing
That the application of Christian Science is effective has been proved many times in our family. Several years ago, our older son, Bruce, earned a sales bonus from his company The sales manager and fifteen salesmen and their wives were given a cruise in the Caribbean.
About nine years ago I had a particularly beautiful opportunity to witness the healing effects of Christian Science in a way that demanded my further spiritual growth. One morning before daylight, I took my new puppy outside for a few minutes, then settled him back in his pen and decided to return to bed.

Twelve years ago I had a rewarding opportunity to serve as a chaplain at a men's jail in California. One evening while I was waiting to be escorted up to the chapel, the guard said to me, "Why do you take your time to come here? These men are not worth your time.
I am profoundly grateful to have been raised by parents who never wavered from their reliance on Christian Science in raising a large family. Science has been a source of strength in many difficult situations.
When I was growing up, my father was my best friend. There were no children my age living near us, so he took on the responsibility of both educating and entertaining me.
My hope is to share in a meaningful way some of my deep feelings of gratitude not only for the Christian Science movement but also for the overflowing love expressed by those demonstrating Christian Science. I am very fortunate to have been raised in a loving Christian Science family and to have attended Christian Science Sunday School.
